What is Readers' Advisory?
Readers' advisory, also known as RA, is simply the process of matching readers with books and books with readers. It deals with both fiction and non-fiction titles, and specific requests may require both kinds of materials to meet a need.
Our job as readers' advisors is to suggest books, not recommend them. Though...we may do that too. We really love to read, and we all have our favorites.
